Dog training venues with good facilities are hard to come by. Please read our Venue Do’s & Don’ts.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS OF 1 JUNE 2020, I AM ONLY ONLY HOLDING CLASSES AT AN OUTDOOR VENUE IN BIRDLIP .
I am very fortunate to have a relationship with Birdlip & Brimpsfield Cricket Club and am able to rent time at the pitch from them. This venue is in a rural, residential location and so barking must be kept to a minimum (if your dog is stressed/bark at people or dogs, speak to me, classes are probably not the best option for now and private sessions may be more suitable). Respect for the neighbours, the pitch and other users must be given at all times.
Normally we train indoors. Our main training hall at Innsworth Community Centre is large and so we are able to cope with classes of up to 8 dogs (dependant on the level being worked and the dog/handler experience). The classes are still restricted and assistants available so you receive quality teaching. Our Wednesday and Thursday evening classes are normally held here (pre-Covid) and the floor is partially covered with slip resistent matting. The postcode for Innsworth Community Centre is GL3 1AU. To view the location in Google Maps click here.
We are very lucky to have a bright hall at Upton St Leonards, together with use of the large adjoining field, for our Kennel Club Good Citizen assessment sessions and some seminars. The postcode for Upton St Leonards Village Hall is GL4 8AG. To view the location in Google Maps click here.
At all venues, please do not allow dogs to urinate on buildings or fences and please clean up and take home all fouling. I cannot stress strongly enough that these rules must be adhered to or we risk losing good venues.
